HLN Keywords

HLN wanted a mobile trivia game to coincide with the launch of their new TV game show, Keywords. The show is The Search & Tag game of Internet Trivia and pits teams against each other in a test of their knowledge about the internet. We ran with that concept to create a quick, fun mobile app that helped define the TV experience.

I was a one-man design studio for this project, defining the user experience, designing the look and feel, and producing all of the assets and illustrations, including the online trailer. HLN was so happy with the design that they used the app's design for the production design of the show, and adjusted the gameplay to match more closely to the app's experience. Even the music and achievement icons were used!
The show premiered on HLN in 2015 hosted by Summer Sanders and the app launched with it. We recently added a multiplayer component with the addition of leaderboards and new features are in the works.
